It's not that hard to sound better

You know what I hate? Seeing comments like this: This is a great book! I'm glad I stuck through the really terrible audio and didn't follow my first inclination to shut it off. It's too bad I can't listen to this book in the car because the volume is so low. It's fantastic! The intro music is very loud, so I just skip the first minute and then get into the story. No, none of these are "live" comments from any one particular book. But variations on those themes do crop up… Continue

Reflections on the impact of community

WOW. Our little community here has grown to over 300 members, been featured on the Ning homepage, and has become a valuable resource for many. I'm stoked. Thanks to everyone who is participating. I'm most thrilled to see the outstanding questions asked and advice given in the Mentorship program. This is certainly leading to better quality of submissions coming in to us, which helps rise all boats. I look forward to seeing where this will take us all!

Off to a great start!

I'm STOKED that so many authors have jumped in and have gotten the ball rolling. Now if we can talk those into really cracking their knuckles on the various parts of this site and finding ways to ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE, we're in great shape.

Here's to hoping. Oh, and to pushing. I do that.

If there's one thing I'm good at, it's following the rules, lol. Got my ep one up on the mentor section though sadly Eps 1-9 are already canned for the most part, so just getting advice to tighten my game up for 10-18. I should have come sooner!

Thanks for the welcome! I have a book in the pipe line, due for editing this summer and hopefully recorded in august some time. It's great to have found a place to publish my work and I am really excited. It is my first time after all!

Thanks Evo! And the beta test went great. I think? I guess we'll find out when you see if I did it right or not. :)

Hi Evo,
Ah! So that is what that box was for - your staff - not staff (working in the industry) in general! - changes made, Sorry.
All my very best wishes.

Thanks for the welcome! The drink of the hour is Wild Turkey Honey. It's too sweet by itself but nice with lemon juice and seltzer. Beer puts the pounds on me and I'm currently as fat as I ever want to get.
