Murder at Avedon Hill

Tales of the Children – Audio Ep. #3 – First Blood – Alex Briggs

Tales of the Children – A Land of Caern short story podcast anthology presented by P.G. Holyfield Before I go any further, it must be said/written. I’m not happy with this episode. The story is top notch; the reading is solid; good use of music and effects. The issue is with the audio quality of the [...]

Help a Friend in Need…

I have had a lot of trouble putting into words what I’ve been feeling this week. One of my best friends, both in podcasting and in life, lost his wife unexpectedly. I don’t have the capacity to write what I should at this point, but thankfully J.C. Hutchins has done just that, more eloquently than [...]

Tales of the Children: Live Reading, 12/30/09 – 9:30 PM Eastern

Stickam Video Page Tomorrow I’ll be doing the 7th Live Show on Stickam. Thanks to everyone that has attended shows so far. The live show has been such a pleasant surprise! We’ll have another wonderful story from a Podiobooks author, “Feverfew” by H.E. Roulo. Heather is the author of Fractured Horizons, and she is also one [...]

Updates...

I just uploaded a video promo at several websites (including here)...

Season One of Flinchy and the Mexican Show Truck ended its run over at The Seanachai. It was a lot of fun and Patrick McLean and I will be working on season 2 in February.

I released episode 38 of MaAH on Christmas Day, which was a lot of work to pull off. I have not finished ep. 39 yet, though, and it's almost been a month. Argh.

I've been fighting… Continue

Technically the sound is great. Good intro (length and info provided). I'd fade out your intro music more slowly. Currently it isn't 'bad,' but it is something I noticed, which of course means I'm taken out of the moment. Most people might not even…

Downloading now. The easiest way to add your artwork (and all tags, in my book), is to use iTunes. If you are not an iTunes fan, you don't have to use it for anything else... just add your file under Music, Right-click the track, click on Get info,…

I apologize Louise; I said I would listen to your episode and the holidays got in the way. Nathan and Erin have given you what you need, for sure. If you upload a 2nd try please message me and I'll give it a listen for sure.

They are both good options, but with you also being a musician I would probably go for the newer H4. You'd rather record directly to the Flash memory in an H2 or H4 than recording into a computer, unless you can have a long enough cord to place the…

Thank you for the welcome. I just got into Podiobooks taking a week off from my job - I lost my voice this week which totally incapacitates my role in Sales. My wife is a pod crazy prolific writer so I've offered to read for her in future. Anyway, this stuff is very addictive and I know I'm gonna keep listening once I'm back on form. Take care.

I will indeed. I plan to go through a testing phase and take all the advice I can get before embarking on serious recording. Right now I am getting familiar with the equipment and getting some guidance from friends who have experience with recording.

Thank you. It was thoughtful to welcome me. I am in the process of recording my manuscript. It could be a daunting task, but I am taking it one step at a time, just as I did when writing it. I want to get most or all of it "in the can" before I start posting it. I am trying to learn as much as possible but not fall into the trap of preparing constantly but never getting to the task. I just recorded the first chapter this weekend.
