If you know the artist, contact them, and ask if they are happy to let you use that track, if so, ask for written permission. The Worse is that they will say is no. Quite a few songs, you can use fo…

Currently, there is not a upper limit of the length of Podiobook that I'm aware of. I'm unintentionally going for one of the shortest solo books here. Nathan has 6 Books, 3 of them are in my view are one book. Wait, I forgot Ravenwood, that makes 7.…

X-Post - I need your Help.

I’m now working on the Production of the Podcast version of 2001: A Big Nutter Oddity for Podiobooks. I’m expecting a Late March launch, with the Pod cast being competed by June.

If you’re a Podcaster, I would like your help. I’m offering you a Permanent Advertisement in my PodioBook. I’m using the word Advertisement loosely, as this section is called The Story So far. The Story So Far as an upper limit of (roughly) two minutes, in which you must tell the story so fa… Continue

I've completed the first round of editing of 2001 - A BigNutter oddity.

And now I've come across a problem: Whist I understand it, I don't if anyone else can.

I would like you to help. Your job is to read just over 10 000 words, then send me any questions and/Problems with it. I'd like more than a few word comments on it, if possible.

You can get in contact with me almost anyway stated on my Profile or a comment, and just state how you want to read it, and if need be where to send iContinue

Alpha - 2001: A Big Nutter Oddity has competed 09 Round 1 rewrite

2001: A Big Nutter Oddity By Mike Sharpe is getting closer to a Podiobooks release. I'm currently handing it out to see if it need work on it. Which it does, just how much more than what I can see is the question.

HI Mike. My first book is called Matheric Chronicles: Druids' Bane. I have detals of how to get a free e-book version at my Facebook..Matherics page [http://www.facebook.com/pages/Matherics/103133536671?ref=ts] After visiting Brian Rathbone's page and following the link to Podiobooks, it's seems such an exciting idea to have an audio version. So here I am! Steve

I've been listening to heaps of podiobooks over the past months and I'm contemplating recording my novel to add to the fold.

Baby steps.

Thanks for the welcome, On a Mission from Dog is actually a play on God, and the Blues Brothers film which used the line, 'We're on a mission from God...' I actually have to now redo some stuff to make it ok for Podiobooks.... coming up soon!

Mike... I scanned through your stuff about wanting to start up a co-host podcast. I assume someone has already told you about mevio.com (used to be podshow.com) where you can post your mp3's for free. I am also on a tight budget so I know how it can be. All I pay for is my domain and site but I do not post the mp3's there because it can eat up your bandwidth. I do however post mp3 players that feed my feeds into the site and uses much less bandwidth. You can host your podcast at mevio free of charge and then promote it from there. I'm not sure how much of this is reiteration for you... but if you need/want any other questions answered about that, let me know. I have a couple books on PB and also have hosted 2 different free form podcasts. You can go to http://www.horroraddicts.net to hear what I do. Some people can get a bit hoity toity about podcasting, but really it's all about trial and error. Just do it and then everytime try to make it better and clean it up. If you wait for EVERYONE to say it's perfect without any flaws... you'll never get it posted.
