Yes, well at least start to. I'm very fickle. If a story looses me it looses me. I just stopped Leviathan Chronicles after 23 episodes due to a gratuitously violent torture scene. I stopped Beneath, which was promising, when a character did somethin…

That's interesting. Well, I really want to thank you for feedback. I've completely changed the intro and outro, now all that's left is sorting out the clipping that Garageband is causing. But a tech guy is trying to help me elsewhere on the forum. D…

Thanks, David. I have an older version. Can't afford to change my version of Garageband, though. Is there a setting in it I can change? Failing that I will just make intro and outro shorter. Thanks for your help.

What version of Garageband do you have? Is it an older version? The early ones were limited to 999 bars for editing and export, which would be about 30 minutes at the default time signature, though you can extend this by changing it.

The first chapters of my new audiobook last around 30 minutes. When I export the file from GarageBand (on a Mac) everything is fine, except the outro, which clips off. I had tried deleting files from my laptop to ensure I have plenty of memory on th…

I've downloaded first 7 episodes, looking forward to listening. I listened to the intro and thought it was excellent, but I've going to wait until the whole thing is there and pig out listening to it all the way through. I tried weekly listening to…

I face the same challenge, LJ. My first novel, published in 2008 in paperback is one I am now beginning to podcast. First episode is up for comment so I can make sure I'm approaching it right before I start recording the whole thing. In that one, I…

Hi, everyone. As per last time, when a bunch of you gave me some incredibly useful feedback on Get a Life! I'm now submitting the first file of my novel, Bone Machines. Comments, feedback would be appreciated. And if it seems generally okay, too, ju…

Thanks, Craig, this is helpful. I do use PB and trying out Smashwords (though I have my ebook on Lulu.com already). I consider I am in a niche market (self development), so I'm never going to be attracting the JC Hutchins and Scott Sigler numbers! S…

If you look at the PB.com "stats" you get a much smaller number than you do from the statistic section of Libsynpro, so I advise the latter. In terms of total numbers, there's no way to easily see what others have done, but Brian recently told me Th…
