For anyone who's thinking about doing full cast audio:
I was talking to the guys at the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine. They're trying to get people to help with production, and the way they want to do it is kind of neat. They'd like to get a han…
I just prefer the way iTunes MP3's sound. It's just me. If you like the way Audacity encodes them, then use it. Or listen to them side-by-side and see if you can hear a difference. I can, but I don't think anyone else does.
*grin* This is also what I'm trying - getting them to FTP in. Now, when they argue with me, I'll say, "This is what PG Holyfield does." lol
Of course, don't Levelate music.
Question for you, P.G.: were your voice actors sending you mp3's or wav's? Did you re-compress stuff?

So far, the only thing I've posted here with my voice was a rough first chapter for Gulliver of Mars... Link Here You'll get the idea of the voice I was going for fairly quickly, but I can do whatever's needed of course. I've also got an idea for another podcast. But really, I want to finish my Novel... That's the one that's burning a whole in my heart the most.

- I posted a message and believe it or not, inadvertantly deleted it. Now I have to recreate it... Basically, I really enjoyed the sneek peek of Cowry Catchers and wanted to know how it was to work with a cast, both in reading and editing. I'm finishing up the editing process on a novel for podcast, and am planning on podcasting a public domain work for experience. I'd also thought about doing a full cast podiobook of a public domain novel and wanted your take on the reading and editing. More difficult? Less difficult? General 'stuff' like that.
