I volunteer to read lines for anyone who needs dialogue read by a female. I can do a variety of voices and accents (with arguable accuracy), and I'll do my best to give your characters life.
Though my voice is more likely suited to character-roles than leading ladies, I'd be happy to give anything a go. :) I've got stage acting experience and am currently in the recording stages of my own book, which I will povide some links for as reference.
I would also be willing to record promos or intros or "story so far..."s if the script is prepared.
Just let me know if you'd like some help: sakurazawa@gmail.com
While I'm still in the writing phases of my own project, I've started producing audio dramas out of short stories for the guys over at Dunesteef. Needs differ for every story, but I'm often looking to fill female roles. Do you have a voice sample I could hear?
I sure do. :) I can do various accents as well, including UK: british, queens british, cockney british, southern irish US: New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia. Not all of them are perfect, but passing. My british roomie says my standard and queen's british are really good, though.
The voice sample is from the second chapter of my book. Not my best work, probably, but it has a range of characters and voices.
Very nice. I'll be sure to drop you an email next time I'm looking for a female voice. Might be a month or two away (I'm editing one I already have lines for currently, and I'm on a 6-8 week cycle).
In case you want to hear a finished example, check out the latest story on http://www.dunesteef.com The story is called "His Poisoner" by Sean Eads. Thanks to Abbie Hilton for pointing me in their direction (through the podiobooks community, no less!)
